Another weekend is upon us. We are prepping our daughter for science camp and watching our son play soccer. My children are downstairs 'packing lunches,' which really just sounds like a lot of yelling and blustering. I have heard the phrase, "I'm telling," used several times. I just asked for clarification of the goings-on down there, and it appears they're just actually playing a game of, "Would you rather...." Apparently, this involves some key questions about kissing. Let's move on.....here are a few links from around the cyber world to kick off the weekend.
I am dying to try this lipstick after my sister says it's magic.

OMG. These bring back some seriously sweet childhood memories. I love that they're in the original-style books rather than the bigger collections I see so often. I remember my mother reading these to me almost daily. I love it when Tom Kitten's mother was affronted!
How is Mother's Day celebrated around the world? This article explains ten global Mother's Day traditions. I'm loving the Japanese tradition of carnations.
Remember Steel Magnolias? Here's the backstory.
Is it nerdy to really, really want this? Seriously, the pencil is genius. I am forever losing the pencil.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
